For the Hunter
Make our resort your base camp for hunting in the Bitterroot Mountains where you will find
some of the best elk, deer, sheep, and goat hunting in Big Sky Country. After a hard day
a field, you can relax in our pool, sauna, and hot tub and enjoy a real hunter's supper in
our restaurant before retiring to prepare for another day's hunt. Our
Beautiful Swimming Pool
is chemical-free, natural hot springs with water
temperatures of 92-94 degrees year-round. Every member of the family will relish a
refreshing dip. The pool has a deep area at one end and a 10" wading pool at the
other. Follow your swim with a session in our sauna or hot tub and you will experience the
ultimate in relaxation. The pool is covered by a dome in the winter.
For the Hiker
Numerous scenic hiking trails radiate from the resort, satisfying a variety of interests.
Wildflower enthusiasts, camera buffs, and families will delight in the Bitterroot's
grandeur and mile-high clean air.
For the Fisherman
Pristine waters sporting pan-size native brook trout flow right through our resort. Just
five miles down-stream are the headwaters of the Bitterroot River where Rainbow,
Cutthroat, and Dolly Varden trout test the skill of the angler. One of the premier blue
ribbon trout streams in the U.S., the Big Hole River, is only twelve miles east of our
resort.
For the Skier
Lost Trail Ski Area, Montana's family ski area, is located six miles above our resort.
Slopes are designed for every level of ability, from a base elevation of 7,050'. For
really spectacular skiing, Lost Trail Ski Area offers three double chair lifts with
expansion on going. From his doorstep, the cross-country skier can venture on the Chief
Joseph Cross-Country trails for a full day's appreciation of the magic of Montana's winter
